The 3rd Annual Colorado Photography Festival will be held from August 10-15, 2013. Ten of the nation's premier photographers will give instruction in the classroom and in the field on numerous aspects of professional photography, from capturing your images to optimizing them in Photoshop. This year's instructors are Dan Ballard, Grant Collier, Glenn Randall, Russ Burden, Mark S Johnson, Stephen G Weaver, Andy Cook, David Kingham, Mary Lynne Ashley, and Rob Palmer.
The indoor classes at this festival will take place at the Auraria campus in downtown Denver.
On Saturday, August 10, five of the instructors will give presentations on a different theme related to photography. On Sunday, eight instructors will lead a workshop with up to 12 participants at one of the many scenic locations around Denver. Participants who sign up early will have their choice of any of the workshops.
There will also be optional classes people can join from Monday thru Thursday. On Monday, Mark S. Johnson will offer a class on Adobe Photoshop. And from Tuesday to Thursday, Dan Ballard will lead a field workshop in Rocky Mountain National Park.
This festival is open to photographers of all skill levels.
The cost to register for this festival is $125. This allows you to attend The Symposium on Saturday, where you'll receive a free copy of Grant Collier's book "Colorado Wild" and entry into the raffle, where we will give away many photography products.
When you register you can join any of the Sunday Workshops for an additional $165, and you'll also have the option to join the Photoshop Class for $125 and 3-day Workshop for $575.
